The wait is over. South Africa’s biggest construction event, the 18th Annual South African Construction Awards 2025, is here. As the country's most prestigious industry accolade, these awards celebrate the projects, leaders, and innovations shaping South Africa’s rapidly evolving built environment with a focus on sustainability and operational excellence.

This  award is aimed at firms that work as main contractors. The projects and construction work your firm has been involved with in the last 12 months (June 2024-June 2025) demonstrates outstanding features and innovative solutions to difficult problems. This award is for funders which offers fast, flexible term funding to companies up to R5 million. DEPARTMENT OF HUMAN SETTLEMENTS EXCELLENCE AWARD 

This prestigious award recognise the contribution that the built environment has on people's lives. This category will assess construction projects that have had a social, economic and environmental impact in South Africa. It is for a project that can demonstrate it has had a measurably positive effect on end users, a local community or a targeted group. The judges are looking for schemes that inspire others and demonstrate how construction can bring about positive change by creating healthier, safer and more resilient communities. Entrants need to demonstrate they have engaged with the local community from an early stage in the project.
