BEST SUPPLIER OF THE YEAR AWARD
This award recognises the supplier who have really gone the extra mile in their partnerships with the construction industry. Any organisation that supplies a product, service or software to the industry is eligible to enter.
GREEN BUILDER OF THE YEAR
Recognising commitment towards sustainability and environmental impact, particularly to reducing carbon footprint, emissions, waste and improving energy efficiency.
BEST HEALTH & SAFETY EXCELLENCE AWARD
Recognising commitment towards ensuring a secure and healthy work environment for the workforce and the general public through appropriate processes and education.
PROJECT TEAM EXCELLENCE OF THE YEAR
This category recognises the best examples of exceptional collaboration, leadership, and commitment to delivering outstanding results.
CEO OF THE YEAR
In this category, judges are looking for chief executives who have displayed outstanding leadership, innovation, determination and commitment to their authorities and their communities.
They will be interested in examples of challenges that chief executives have tackled and surmounted over and above the day-to-day problems of the job.
PROPERTY DEVELOPER OF THE YEAR

It is for a project that can demonstrate it has had a measurably positive effect on end users, a local community or a targeted group. The judges are looking for schemes that inspire others and demonstrate how construction can bring about positive change by creating healthier, safer and more resilient communities. Entrants need to demonstrate they have engaged with the local community from an early stage in the project.
EMERGING CONTRACTOR OF THE YEAR
The category is open to all firms of the project team for a project within South Africa,The award is open to all types of construction firm that helped to deliver the project. Projects are judged on design, sustainability, innovation and construction performance and procurement and team work with the client
CONSTRUCTION LEADER OF THE YEAR
This award celebrates an individual who has showcased remarkable performance throughout 2025/26, building upon their outstanding career history.
Construction Executive of the Year award criteria often focus on demonstrating business success, driving innovation, improving sustainability and carbon footprints, fostering a positive and inclusive workforce culture, and making a positive social impact. PROJECT OF THE YEAR
Recognising commitment towar consistently delivering quality on infrastructure projects, ensuring appropriate processes and skilled execution. Focusing on megacities, roads, bridges, airports, or railways and roads, incorporate sustainable architecture, innovative building practices, societal implications, and resolving multifaceted logistical issues.
YOUNG CONTRACTOR OF THE YEAR AWARD
This is awarded to an individual that is under 35 year’s of age. The individual should lead by example and inspire others through their tenacity and vision. There should be evidence that the person is ambitious, creative, and achieved first-class results in construction industry.
